VIRTUAL INTERIOR DESIGN SERVICE

Full Service Interior Design involves larger scale and more complex projects such as whole homes or multiple room projects where significant remodelling works are required. These types of projects require detailed technical skills, a lot of in person contact, project co-ordination, site visits, bespoke furniture and cabinetry design including the associated manufacturing oversight, and the ongoing professional input required to support a wider team of subconsultants.

Virtual Design is a lighter approach suited to those projects which do not require such a technically complex service, allowing clients the flexibility to tackle one or two rooms at a time. Clients are able to access our Virtual Design Service without the barrier of project minimums that are otherwise necessary to make our Full Interior Design Service viable.

Our Virtual Design Service is offered on a flat fee basis per typical room type and according to the size and scale of the room. Once we understand the scope of your project and how many rooms you would like designing, including their overall size, we will be able to provide you with a clear and concise fee menu.

No, our design fees are for the design plan itself, and do not include the cost of furnishings, art and accessories.

Rachel Usher Interior Design will provide you with a complete furniture and accessories package per each room. We will order all of the items on your behalf and have them delivered directly to your project address so that you can install these items in your own time. When we understand the scale of each room we will be able to provide you with estimations of costs so that you can budget for the implementation of your design.

Our Virtual Interior Design is for full rooms or spaces only, this ensures that the unique design that we create for you aligns with our design quality and perspective. This also allows us to deliver our best possible work for you, providing you with the greatest return on your investment by giving you a full transformation and cohesive look.

If you require a less structured approach our Design Concierge Service may be more suitable.

NAs a studio we have an in-depth knowledge of the best suppliers and the hero pieces that will give your space the maximum impact, many of these suppliers are not high street retailers. We also have a strict quality benchmark for all of the items that we supply providing us with the confidence that we are sourcing the best products for your space and investment, therefore in order to retain the quality of our work we do not supply shopping lists.

It is worth noting that we are a luxury design studio known for our established portfolio and high-end aesthetic, our Virtual Design Services are given the same care and attention as our Full Interior Design Service. If you are unsure that our designs will fit within your investment level we are happy to explore estimated costs with you during a Design Discovery Call.

All questions specific to the contractor are best handled directly with them, utilising their professional expertise. Our design plan will capture descriptive details and the design intent, however we do not directly offer contractor services. Our priority is to offer you a clear design vision for you. Any drawings will be based upon the measurements that you have provided to us. Whilst we aim to ensure accuracy as far as possible on these drawings it is important to note that as we have not physically been to site the measurements are indicative only and we recommend that you get a site survey from all installers prior to them quoting and undertaking their works.

Each project is unique with many factors affecting the timeline of deliverables. We strive to deliver our design plans within 14-16 weeks. The implementation of the design on-site will be in addition to this schedule and will be subject to the scope of works and the availability of any third party contractors. The delivery of a full package of furniture, artwork and accessories may take anything between 4-16 weeks from ordering.
